If you have any warranty issues please go to the above web address and register. Lacie will assist you with the steps necessary to resolve your issue and look after any other warranty services and or repairs.

Please note: All products must be returned in their original condition and be within 2 weeks of purchase receipt. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer.

There are no refunds for change of mind purchases.

Back Up Drives recommends that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Back Up Drives will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure. 

Any loss, corruption or destruction of data while using a LaCie drive is the sole responsibility of the user, and under no circumstances will BACK UP DRIVES be held liable for the recovery or restoration of this data. To help prevent the loss of your data, BACK UP DRIVES highly recommends that you keep TWO copies of your data; one copy on your external hard disk, for instance, and a second copy either on your internal hard disk, another external hard disk or some other form of removable storage media.

BACK UP DRIVES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY ACCORDING TO LACIE, OR UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH LACIE PRODUCTS EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. 

If Lacie finds your product to be faulty and refund to be necessary, Back up Drives will refund to the customers credit card that was originally used for the transaction.
